Colleges and Universities
The Universities offers courses that last for 4-6 years. Medicine, dentistry and oriental medicine courses last for 6 years. The Universities and Colleges provide theoretical education that is needed for the development of the country and mankind. The curriculum comprises of general and professional courses and includes basic and elective subjects. The colleges and Universities in South Korea provided courses in business administration, literature, fine arts, law, music, pedagogy science, theology, economics, agriculture, political science, administration, engineering, library science, medicine, nursing, oriental medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, and veterinary medicine.
Junior Colleges
Junior colleges provide 2-3 years of higher education, to educate and train mid-level technicians. Such colleges focus on practical education and training, including hands-on training, in collaboration with industry through internships. Students can major in humanities and social studies, engineering, nursing, natural sciences, arts, dentistry and medicine, physical education, clinical pathology, aquaculture, physical therapy, radiology, or mechanics courses. Students who finish Junior College can apply in Universities, Open Universities and Industrial Universities.
Graduate Schools
The graduate schools provide comprehensive study of a specialized area and aims to heighten innovation and leadership in academic research. Some graduate schools in South Korea are practice-oriented that emphasize on Masters Level training while other graduate schools focus on Ph.D research.
